L’Etude was founded in 1996. It is the result of a merger between the firm of de Weck, Gillon, Esseiva and the firm of Hayoz & Perritaz, then, later, with the Overney firm.  The origin of the firms of de Weck, Gillon, Esseiva and Hayoz & Perritaz dates back roughly to the 1950s. L'Etude is therefore well anchored in the judicial, economic and political realms of French-speaking Switzerland and the canton of Berne. In our fields of specialisation, our services have been solicited from economic actors coming from other Swiss cantons and around the world.Our firm is organised in the form of a General Partnership Company (SNC - Société en Nom Collectif).
