BarentsKrans is an independent Dutch firm of attorneys-at-law and civil-law notaries, located in The Hague. Our firm consists of over 130 people. We assist our clients in litigation in first instance or on appeal, in matters of both civil law and administrative law. Furthermore, we are one of the few firms in the Netherlands that also conducts litigation before Supreme Court of the Netherlands.Additionally, we provide advisory services in real estate and corporate transactions. In this work, our civil-law notaries and attorneys work closely together.BarentsKrans has five departments: Litigation, Supreme Court Litigation, Labour Law, Corporate & M&A and Real Estate. The Litigation department handles cases in the fields of Financial Litigation, IP & Technology, Antitrust & Public Procurement and Corporate Litigation. All our departments work for both domestic and international clients.We are driven, discerning and committed. Together with our client, we look for the best way to achieve the desired result. Sometimes this means going beyond technical legal knowledge and sometimes this calls for strategic insights and a practical attitude.
