Schwarz Kelwing Wicke Westpfahl is the result of a merger of several long-established, renowned law firms. Having a supraregional presence, our firm mainly focuses on commercial law whilst drawing from industry-specific knowledge and expertise at each of our offices.Founded in 1949 by Prof. Wolf Schwarz, the Munich office has become one of the most eminent media law practices in Germany over the past decades. Led by Kurtze, Jander & Partner, the Berlin office has acquired an outstanding reputation in the field of property law since its establishment in 1954. The Munich and Berlin offices were merged in 1994. In 2003, we could attract another strong partner, the Frankfurt-based firm Westpfahl Rechtsanwälte. With its origins dating back to the 1930s, our Frankfurt office has a solid grounding in all aspects of commercial law.In April 2007, the Düsseldorf-based practice Seidel Neumann Rechtsanwälte has joined our firm and further strengthened our German presence and areas of practice by contributing their ten years of expertise in commercial law.Our vision is to be, and to remain, an independent law firm with a presence at the major economic hubs of Germany.
