Edith Hlawati, Volker Glas, Albert Birkner and Clemens Hasenauer received the award on March 16th, 2004 in London.
The IFLR award is granted annually. The jury of the award consisted of renowned journalists and members of the research department of IFLR. The Banking & Corporate Finance Department led by Edith Hlawati advised in 2004 Capital Market transactions with a total volume of EUR 4,4 Billions. The jury emphasised the competence of CHSH in the field of Banking & Corporate Finance, which the firm proved in advising ÖIAG in the innovative EUR 1,1 Mrd. blocktrade of Telekom Austria shares, in advising Energie Baden-Württemberg in the sale of its 6,3% participation in Verbund and advising Wienerberger in a capital increase and placement of around 8,8 million new shares. The Team also advised four take overs, several M&A transactions, as well as deals concerning fund products and structured finance.
